On a 97 degree summer day, the last thing you expect to see on the side of the freeway is a Sphynx cat. Yet that is exactly what happened when a young mother of two driving by caught eye on him curled up under a guard rail. Circling back she scooped up the badly injured cat and rushed him to the shelter for care. When no one came for him and his fate was uncertain, she agreed to take him, knowing he would need urgent help to repair his broken leg and injuries. When the estimate for surgery became more than she had saved for, OC Animal Allies stepped up to help her out and make sure he will get the surgery he needs.
Saint is under the care of his veterinary team and in stable condition awaiting surgery next Tuesday to repair his right Tibia and Fibula which were badly fractured, and to address some wound care. While we have already agreed to cover the costs of the surgery, we need you help to raise the additional funds needed for this complex surgery.
Help get Saint back on his feet today!
