Veterinary care is a specialty. You are paying for the time, expertise, experience and professional knowledge of the doctors and staff. Pricing will vary from hospital to hospital, so it is always best to confirm pricing and procedures with the Veterinarian first. While it may be possible to get an estimate without being seen, you should expect that in most cases your pet will need to be seen by a veterinarian in order to determine the best care and treatment plan for you. If you are seeking financial assistance, you will need to have a written estimate from the hospital.

Local Low Cost Veterinary Hospitals and Clinics
Our ARF (Animal Rescue Fund) has limited funds available to assist low-income pet owners with critical care for their pets. There are clinics that offer lower cost veterinary care and services that are available to the public. You should always confirm pricing and appointment availability before bringing your pet in. Most hospitals will require your pet to be seen in order to provide you with an estimate for the best treatment plan for your pet, so be prepared for the costs of an office exam to consult with the veterinarian and staff.
