Patriot served as the official Mascot of OC Animal Allies. He piloted the AirPAWS program as the first dog to provide service in the terminal.

Patriot was found at 3 months old having been abused with his mouth wired shut. His signature scars represented his courageous resilience and survival from animal cruelty. Patriot proudly served the organization for more than 12 years, and was actively involved in the organization with other programs assisting children and adults.

Patriot Passed unexpectedly on July 30, 2024. He continues to live in memory as a beacon of hope and the good that can rise from evil.
